I n the middle of audit week, our company accountants decided not to show up. As it turned out, they embezzled some money. What struck me the most was that the people who did it were not strangers; they were like mothers and aunts. We saw them almost every day, smile at them, laugh with them, and made plans together. As part of the management team, we ate out and had a friendly good time. Eternal Joy: The Answer to Depression
ReplyDelete#Psa16v11 You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand. [BSB]
Eternal Joy is a person, not just a concept or an emotion. It's the Person of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the answer, our rescue!
You only needed to come to Him, for He is waiting for you. You come with words; start by whispering His name.
That sense of joy is with Him, in His presence, so come near to Him. Jesus is pulling you close.
The joy He gives is stronger than our bodies and emotions. Gather all your strength and focus to call on Him.
Right here and now, as you're reading this, just whisper the name of Jesus. Try it, and wait for Him.
