Degenerations From Adam


This is the book of the generations of Adam.

In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God He made him; 2 Male and female He created them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 And Adam lived a hundred and thirty (130) years, and fathered a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth. 4 And the days of Adam after he had fathered Seth were eight hundred (800) years; and he fathered sons and daughters. 5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty (930) years, and he died.

6 And Seth lived a hundred and five (105) years, and fathered Enos. 7 And Seth lived after he fathered Enos eight hundred and seven (807) years, and fathered sons and daughters. 8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve (912) years, and he died.

9 And Enos lived ninety (90) years, and fathered Cainan. 10 And Enos lived after he fathered Cainan eight hundred and fifteen (815) years, and fathered sons and daughters. 11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five (905) years, and he died.

12 And Cainan lived seventy (70) years and fathered Mahalaleel. 13 And Cainan lived after he fathered Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty (840) years, and fathered sons and daughters. 14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten (910) years, and he died.

15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five (65) years, and fathered Jared. 16 And Mahalaleel lived after he fathered Jared eight hundred and thirty (830) years, and fathered sons and daughters. 17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five (895) years, and he died.

18 And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two (162) years, and he fathered Enoch. 19 And Jared lived after he fathered Enoch eight hundred (800) years, and fathered sons and daughters. 20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two (962) years, and he died.

21 And Enoch lived sixty and five (65) years, and fathered Methuselah. 22 And Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah three hundred (300) years, and fathered sons and daughters. 23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five (365) years. 24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

25 And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven (187) years, and fathered Lamech. 26 And Methuselah lived after he fathered Lamech seven hundred eighty and two (782) years, and fathered sons and daughters. 27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine (969) years, and he died.

28 And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two (182) years, and fathered a son. 29 And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed.”

30 And Lamech lived after he fathered Noah five hundred ninety and five (595) years, and fathered sons and daughters. 31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven (777) years, and he died.

32 And Noah was five hundred (500) years old, and Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Bishopric and Episkopé: The Ministry of Visitation

The KJV word is bishoprick , which is now archaic in spelling. Most Bible translators didn’t use the modern spelling ‘ bishopric,’ and that, for a good reason.   #Acts1v20 For it is written in the book of Psalms: “Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell in it.”, and, “His bishopric, let another take.”   A quick google search shows that bishopric means: the office or rank of a bishop. ·      a district under a bishop's control; a diocese.   But looking closely at the Greek word, episkopé, reveals a deeper meaning: a visiting, an overseeing [Strong's].   Here's the kicker: bishopric k is not a desk job; it's fieldwork.   An excellent, Spirit-filled bishop or pastor performs the act of visitation. How does one effectively "oversee" a flock? By being with them, by being among them. God is working in me

The Battle For A Baby

  There is no question that God wants every married couple to have a baby. Let there be no doubt about it; it is God’s will for you to have a baby.   By and by, these timeless truths get challenged as the months and years go by and we still don’t have a baby. After some years into our married lives, we begin to ask, “Why are we not pregnant yet?” Our hearts and minds begin to wonder and wander.
