John 1

the king version In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2  The same One was in the beginning with God. 3  All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. 4  In Him was life, and that life was the Light of men. 5  And the Light shines in darkness, and the darkness comprehend it not.   6  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7  The same one came as a witness to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8  He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9  That was the true Light which lights every man that comes into the world. 10  He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. 11  He came to His own, and His own received Him not. 12  But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13...

Father God is my first and foremost Spiritual Father. I live my life as HIS son. HE then leads me to HIS assigned earthly spiritual father for me - my church pastor

#TrainYourConscience  1Cor4:15  For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel. ESV I behave and accept discipline as a son of the house. I pray for the grace to live up to this divine arrangement. Image by Dawnyell Reese from Pixabay

The Lord Jesus is my first and foremost Pastor. HE is the Great Shepherd of my soul. HE then leads me to HIS assigned undershepherd for me - my church pastor

#TrainYourConscience  Heb13:17 Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit. NLT I remain under his pastoral care. I submit to him as to the Lord. I am comforted by the thought of his rod and staff. How I treat him reflects my attitude towards God's leadership. Image by Free-Photos from Pixabay . .

Proverbs 8

The King Version [KING] [Wisdom personified] Does not wisdom cry out, and understanding put forth her voice? 2  She stands at the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths . 3  She cries at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors:   [The First Person of Wisdom speaks] 4  “To you, O men, I call, and My voice is to the sons of man. 5  O you simple, understand Wisdom; and you fools, be of an understanding heart. 6  Hear, for I will speak of excellent things, and the opening of My lips will be right things; 7  for My mouth will speak truth, and wickedness is an abomination to My lips. 8  All the words of My mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing twisted or perverse in them. 9  They are all plain to him who understands, and right to those who find knowledge. 10  Receive My instruction and not silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold; 11  for Wisdom is...

All My Springs Are In You

Psalm 87 The King Version [KING]   {A Psalm  or  Song for the sons of Korah.}   His foundation is in the holy mountains. 2  The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. 3  Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God! Selah 4  “I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know Me; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia: ‘This man was born there.’” 5  And of Zion it will be said, “This and that man were born in her; and the Highest Himself will establish her.” 6  The Lord will count,  when He writes up the people, that this man was born there. Selah 7  As well the singers as the players on instruments will be there: “All my springs are in You.” The King Version [KING]   image from Pixabay

Psalm 91

the king version    He who [1] dwells [2] in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2  I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him will I trust.” 3  Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler [3] and from the noisome pestilence. 4  He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings shall you trust; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5  You shall not be afraid of [4] the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies [5] by day, 6  nor of the pestilence that walks [6] in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes [7] at noonday. 7  A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near [8] you. 8  Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9  Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your habitation, 10...

The Story of My Salvation

My Born Again Experience      It was my first kids' camp; I was only six years old. We were in Antipolo, Rizal, on the month of April. But before this momentous event, my parents were already bringing us to church on Sunday mornings. However, there was yet to be a spiritual encounter that would lead me to get saved. I got saved under the ministry of Manila Bethel Temple, now known as the Cathedral of Praise.  On the last night of the camp, I was unusually wide-awake as the preacher took his time. He gave the invitation to accept Jesus as one's own personal Lord and Savior, and to have a personal relationship with Him. Young as I was, somehow I understood the altar call, and I raised up my hand in response. Right where I was seated, I repeated the phrases of the pastor leading us in prayer, and I meant every word of it.  It was nighttime, and yet I remember it so vividly: the campers were all under one big cottage that had a huge incandescent bulb hanging i...
